• K'ehler was my first homebred champion that finished her championship exclusively out of the Bred-By-Exhibitor class. Formerly a rather unpopular class, but one that I believed in the message of strongly, many other American breeders have followed suit to support this class with their "keeper" stock. I believe this inspires us all to continually raise the bar of quality in our beloved breed.
• She was the first AKC Dual Champion of any sighthound breed on the west coast and was thus featured on the cover of The Basenji magazine shortly thereafter by request of the Editor.
• K'ehler had a lovely temperament and was cherished by all of us who had the divine pleasure of knowing her.
• Her contribution to the Taji bloodline continues through her one litter in 1996 that produced 3 champions.
