Our latest Specialty Best in Show Winner!
  • "Rayne" is fifth in an unbroken pedigree line of Breeder-Owner-Handled Specialty Best in Show winners. I think that's something to crow about!
  • August 2009: Rayne debuts in the BOB ring as a special and is awarded Best in Show at the Evergreen Basenji Club Specialty breeder/owner/handled!
  • July 2009: Another Hat Trick! Rayne returns to the show ring and is awarded Winners Bitch and Best of Winners at the WVBC Specialty in Oregon and is WB the following two days of the Specialty weekend to finish her Championship!
  • Rayne finished her championship title in a total of 9 show entries, exclusively pointed from the Bred-By-Exhibitor-Bitch class.
  • "Rayne" is the Reincarnation of her namesake: Am/Can CH. Taji's Trinidad Tradewind, JC "Tre" who was accidentally killed prematurely by his owner's gardener failing to secure the gate. Tre had only sired two litters prior to his death and he had not been collected. This breeding is the product of a Tre daughter (p.Clear) to a Tre great-grandson (p.Clear) that merges the two litters he sired. Rayne's litter of origin consists of four lovely puppies, three of which will be shown across the country.
  • Rayne and ALL of her littermates had their hips OFA prelim graded as "Good" before they were placed.
  • Rayne debuted at the May 2008 EBC Match where she was awarded Best Puppy in Match by breeder-judge, David Davidson of Bajoran Basenjis from British Columbia, Canada.
  • August 2008: Rayne was awarded Best in Futurity by breeder-judge, Parry Tallmadge of Rugosa West Basenjis from San Francisco, CA.
  • Co-bred with with Andrea and Tim Walters and family of Quercus Basenjis in Swanton, Ohio
  • Co-owned with Leslie Lynch and monitored by Ch. Kazor's "Tailor" Made for Taji, SC in Bellingham, WA
  • Rayne's AKC Registration is #HP288597/02
  • Her DOB: 12/19/07
